Bluebonnets

What a wonderful year for wildflowers in Texas.  The recent rains, have provided a good environment for a beautiful burst of color.  On every road and highway we traveled, there were bluebonnets (and the b****** cabbage).    Take a look at a few of our pictures.

This is what you do in Texas.  Get dressed up and take pictures in the bluebonnets.

Ever-lovin’ is looking good.  Of course we’re not dressed up.  We have on our traveling clothes.

Texas proud!

Love this!

Yes, we did see larger fields of bluebonnets, but they always seemed to be on the other side of the road.  You know how that is!

Thank you for reading.

Love ya,

PS  My friend Ann sent me these pictures.  Be still my heart!  Just had to share them with you.  Here is what she had to say.  “Bluebonnets in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fredericksburg.  These were taken last week and will not last much longer with our high winds and hot weather.

Thank you Ann for sharing.
