Alert!  Our beloved Bluebonnets are in danger.

Yes, the cherished Bluebonnet, our Texas State Flower  is being crowded out by the invasive B****** Cabbage.  Here is the report from kxan in Austin.  How pretty the fields look covered with yellow blooms, until you realize that this plant is taking over.  The tap roots are hard to get out of the ground, and the seeds spread easily.  Before long, we might be singing, “Where Have All the Bluebonnets Gone?”  Something has got to be done.  We can’t let this happen.
