Fall at the Arboretum

The Dallas Arboretum – beautiful plants and flowers – Chihuly glass adorning the gardens (until November 5) – and then if you thought it couldn’t get any better – they add 50,000 pumpkins.  Yes, 50,000!  (The farmers around Floydada, Texas must be rich and happy.)

Sweet Mother of Pearl!  Words escape me to describe fall at the Arboretum. As friend BB said today, “Fall at the Arboretum is just as good as spring at the Arboretum.”  So true.  I like it, I love it, I want to see more of it.  No lie.  I could go everyday and be happy – and I plan to go as often as possible in the coming weeks.

Pumpkins greet you at the entrance to the gardens.  Literally took my breath away.

Be still my heart!  How beautiful!  Pumpkin boarders.

Piles and piles of pumpkins.  Love the “speciality” pumpkins.

Can you believe?  I am more than impressed with the amazing Pumpkin Village.

“Swan Lake” – This makes me laugh.

Then you add two of the cutest sweetest girls in the world (Super Sister’s granddaughters.)  Life doesn’t get any better than this!

Cinderella’s carriage – perfect for princesses.

Have you ever seen apple gourds?  Love these.

The weather has been perfect, and the gardens are beautiful.  You will not be disappointed with a visit to the Dallas Arboretum this fall.  In fact, you will be blessed.

Blessings to you and yours,

Remember – With the family memberships you get year-round admission to the park for up to six people per visit for only $109.00.  Best deal in Dallas.
