Wedding Shower – Game Night

Minetta is someone you love to be around.  She is such a delight and is always positive.  She is also a storyteller – not a liar, but a person who tells stories.  I love to be around Minetta.

Her youngest son David married Sara.  One Sunday Minetta couldn’t wait to tell me about a beyond wonderful shower that had been given for David and Sara.  It was a game shower, and these girls had done it right!  Minetta said the hostesses got their ideas from Pinterest, but I couldn’t find a posting this cute. (I did try.  If I need to give credit to someone, please let me know, and I will do it.)

Minetta sent me the pictures, and I have been wanting to share them with you, but it took me some time to figure out how to do this.  (Sorry)  Here is the party.

Sweet Mother of Pearl!  The invitation was adorable.  Who wouldn’t want to go to this party?

What an inviting welcome table.  You know already you are in for a good time.

This table is wonderful.  Love the personalized banner.  Somebody went to a lot of trouble. Waterworks.  Even the water bottles are wrapped with names of games. (How fitting for a wedding shower.)

Love this!  Don’t Spill the Beans coffee bar.  They even decorated the coffee pot.

This makes me laugh.  Trouble!  They are so right.

They played games.  Look at the centerpiece – it is hard to see, but I can see enough of it to know it is fantastic.

I could tell Sara was a good sport!

They opened gifts of games.  Let the fun begin!  Game nights are one of my favorite things.

Candyland – Candy treats for the guest to take home..

When Minetta first told me about the party, she said, “I wish you could have been there.  You would have loved it.”  She is so right.  I like it.  I love it.  I wish I could have been part of it.

Thank you Minetta for sharing your pictures.

Blessings to you and yours,
