Eyes in the Bushes

Sounds a little creepy doesn’t it – “There are eyes in the bushes.”  (Just say it in you best Lon Chaney voice.)

Number One Son pointed these out to me on Pinterest (Thrifty Crafty Girl) some time ago, and I have been saving toilet paper rolls ever since.  To have eyes hiding in the bushes on Halloween night seems like so much fun.

Draw eyes on the toilet paper roll.

Cut eyes out – I used an x-acto knife with a piece of PC pipe inserted into it so I wouldn’t cut my finger off.

This is my stash so far.

I like these from Thrifty Crafty Girl.  The eyes are different shapes.  Maybe I can do different shapes with the rest of the rolls.

I have green Glow Sticks from Dollar Tree (Everything’s a Dollar, but you get two sticks in the package.)  I think it will look something like this picture from Family Frugal Fun.com.

I do hope these are as much fun as I want them to be.

Blessings to you and yours,

Today (Saturday October 27, 2012), there will be a Pumpkin Bash at First Baptist Church Richardson (Central Expressway and Arapaho).  It is from 4-6 PM.  There will be bounce houses, a petting zoo, pony rides, refreshments, games, and Trunk or Treating cars.  Doesn’t it sound like fun!  Ever-Lovin’ and I are going to have our car trunk decorated, and will be giving out candy.  (Hope you can recognize what our car is suppose to be.)  Do come by to see us.  Candy and fun for all.
