Fall at Super Sister’s Home

I promised you that you could have a tour inside Super Sister’s home.  As I told you before, I really believe Super Sister tied bows with her umbilical cord in the womb.  She is crafty and can do anything.  What amazes me about her home are all the little details.  Everywhere you turn there is something new to see.

As you enter the foyer, there is the cutest, friendliest scarecrow you will ever want to meet.  The tweed hat and flannel shirt over his straw body makes him look quite dapper. He is standing in a field of cloth pumpkins.  Good looking!

The Madam Alexander pilgrims were bought in Williamsburg several years ago.  They have the sweetest faces and the detailing on the clothes is amazing.

Flowers sit beside a chair in the living room – a beautiful touch.

The Pumpkin Fairy is hiding in the fern.  She makes me laugh.

Be still my hear!  The arrangement on the dining room table is beyond wonderful.  The Byers’ Choice  pilgrims belonged to our Mother.  She also got them in Williamsburg, Virginia.  Last year Super Sister added the pilgrim boy, cart and turkey.  I like them.  I love them!  The platter in the back reads, “I am the way, the truth and the life.”

This is a close-up view so you can see more detail.  What a super fall display.

Pilgrim bears, a fall wreath, and pumpkins adorn the shelf in the hall.

The wooden bowl on the kitchen island is bountifully filled with fruit.

This was the first time I had seen Super Sister’s new lamp on the kitchen island.  Sweet Mother of Pearl, it is perfect for the island.  Wow!

The fabric turkeys are so cute with their ribbon feathers.  The pumpkin candle is sitting atop a candlestick.

The white pumpkins on a side table are pretty and make a nice statement.  I am so partial to white pumpkins.

Love the pretty autumn arrangement on the mantle.

How cute is this?  Metal decorations for her pumpkin. Mr. Pumpkin is certainly dressed up.

Tucked in a corner is a fall tree.  Looks very good!

I believe this is a cranberry scoop.  Super Sister bought it in an antique store in Georgetown a few years ago.  It fits perfectly in this space in the breakfast room.  Super Sister changes the arrangement for the season.  Pretty, pretty, pretty.

Everywhere I looked fall was there.  Trust me.  I did not show you everything.  It is truly beyond wonderful.

The sign says welcome, and that is what one feels in Super Sister’s home.  It is beautiful, and filled with love.  Thank you for letting me share it.

Blessings to you and yours,

I had a wonderful time in Austin – enjoyed being with my sister, ate good food, rode the Duck, and much, much more.  What do you like doing in Austin?  Let me know.   I am already looking forward to my next visit with Super Sister.
