Avery’s Room Tour

Let it be known that there is no doubt that great-niece Avery is Super Sister’s granddaughter.  Avery is so creative and even at her young age, she can make and do almost anything. (Just like SS was.)  As soon as we arrived at Carson’s party, Super Sister said, “You have got to to see Avery’s room.”  I knew it was going to be good.

Before we could go to the room we had to meet Avery’s pet rabbit Shadow.  He is so soft and cuddly.  Super Sister is getting skinny and looking so good.  (Sorry about the blur.)

Sweet Mother of Pearl!  Can you believe that this girl child made this wreath all by herself?  It is wonderful!

A friendly little snowman greeted us as we entered Avery’s room.

A garland of lights was hung over her window.  These look great.  Maybe they should stay.

Avery decorated her tree and even added lights to the play house.  Too cute!  I like it. I love it.

Art work by Avery.  Santa would be so proud to ride in this sleigh.

These darling reindeer are wonderful.  This was Avery’s choice one day while shopping with Super Sister.  (Later SS showed them to me at HomeGoods.  I liked them so much I bought a set for my dining room table.)

Avery finds projects and patterns on the internet, and does all of this on her own.  Amazing!

Drum roll! ……………Ta Dah!

What I HAD to see, as if all of the above was not wonderful enough, was the Nativity Avery created with her dolls.  Be still my heart!  This has to be one of the most precious nativities I have ever seen.  In the center are Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus. On the left is a shepherd, and on the right are the “Three Wise Girls”.  (Yes!)  Above the manger is an angel, and outside the manger are the townspeople coming to see Baby Jesus.  The animals are there also.

There is also another angel above the stable praising God .  I love the idea of cheering for Jesus.

Avery has the sweetest spirit.  She is always thinking and creating just like her Nonna.  But most importantly, she loves the Lord, and finds ways to praise and honor Him.  It is a blessing to know and love her.

Blessings to you and yours,

Avery has so many dolls because her older sister Madison generously gave Avery her dolls.  Madison was growing up and realized she no longer played with dolls, so she offered them to Avery. That is precious for Madison to be so kind and loving.  Love this sweet family.
