A White Christmas

Be still my heart!  Yes, we all dream of a White Christmas, and today it came.

The gang came over this morning before the snow.  (We had a wonderful time together.)

But, they made sure to leave before the snow and ice came.  Good idea!

The first flakes were humongous.  No pictures, but trust me.

Then tiny flakes of  snow began blowing in hard gust.  I tried going out, but it was nasty – the snow was blowing so hard I could not open my eyes.

After a while, the snow stopped falling, and I could go out.  It was a winter wonderland.  White mounds of snow even blew up on the bench in the courtyard.

This was something to behold.  The artificial tree in the courtyard was “flocked” with real snow.  Sweet Mother of Pearl.  It was so pretty.

I like it. I love it.  Our day with family was wonderful, and then we got a White Christmas.  Life is good.

Blessings to you and yours and Merry Christmas.

Could not help but think of Isaiah 1:18 today.

“Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. – Isaiah 1:18
