Living Stones Christmas Party at Linda’s

Be still my heart!  Sweet Mother of Pearl!  My, oh my, oh my!

Linda was gracious and invited the Living Stones to her home for the Annual Christmas party.  Her home is beautiful, and (I kid you not!) everywhere you looked there were gorgeous decorations.  The big plus is –  I have pictures to share.  (Understand these pictures were taken at night, but still they are worthy to be seen.   There were so many things to see and share that I have decided to share Linda’s home in more than one blog.

Linda

Welcome – what a beautiful entry.  I love all of this – the swags of lit garland over the front door, the tall soldiers that stand watch, the wreaths and the poinsettias.  Before we entered, I knew we were in for a treat.

As we entered Linda’s home, the jeweled tree hanging in the entry took everyone’s breath away.  We could not stop staring at this tree made from vintage crystal jewelry.  The pieces of pins, earrings, and bracelets shimmered and glistened.  I like it.  I love it.  Wow!

On the dining room table, Linda had an arrangement filled with greenery and touches of red and gold.Linda

In the breakfast room, a runner of greenery and red candles graced the table.  Beautiful!

Throughout their home (I really should mention that this is Gaylon’s home also.), there were fresh poinsettia.  They are so festive.

Two large trees were filled with lights and ornaments.  This tree is in the den.

Linda

Family ornaments, ornaments from the Living Stones ornament exchange, and other keepsakes adorned this tree.  I heart family heirloom ornaments.

Linda

In the den there are also other touches of Christmas.  The presents filled with lights were on the sofa table.

Linda

Be still my heart.  This is one of my favorite things in Linda and Gaylon’s home.  For several years, Linda and Gaylon lived in Africa, and they brought these statues home.  Doncha love how these two are also in the holiday spirit?

The tree in the living room glistens with shiny ornaments.  Many of these ornaments are nativities.  Linda has a wonderful nativity collection. (I will share more about the nativities in another post.)

Linda

On the living room coffee table a metal leaf bowl is filled with ornaments.  So simple and so pretty.

Linda

Above the mantle is a large – I mean very large – wreath.  It is such a nice touch to have lights on the wreath.

Linda

This shows the detail of the garland on the mantle.  Many of the decorations in this room have a more natural feel while also having glistening accents.  The combination is great.

Linda

Greenery and red poinsettias and red balls fill a vintage glass basket on the hall tree.  Notice Gaylon’s collection of canes from around the world.

Linda

More canes are displayed in Gaylon’s study.  They worked for days to mount these canes on his wall.  So interesting!  I like it.  I love it!

Linda

This might be the largest Christmas cactus I have ever seen.  Won’t it be fantastic when the blooms open?

Linda

Decorations were not limited to inside the house.  This little tree in the back yard was draped with white lights.

Linda

A darling snowman, a poinsettia, and greenery were on the patio table.  Linda’s attention to details and her eye for creating beautiful displays is amazing.

Let it be known that there are more blogs to come from Linda’s home and The Living Stones Christmas Party.  Linda has fantastic collections of nativities and Santa’s.   I honestly felt like I was visiting collections that could be displayed at The Arboretum.

Blessings to you and yours,

Thank you Linda for letting me share.
