Flowering Quince From Miss Jane’s Garden

Miss Jane is my friend who loves to garden and has beautiful gardens.  Recently she brought me twigs of flowering quince.   They were in a vase of water.

As you can see, there were very few blooms on the twigs, but there were many buds.  Miss Jane assured me that the buds on these branches wound eventually become blooms.

I waited patiently for the other buds to open.

Be still my heart.  Just look at these glorious blooms.  I like them.  I love them.  It is amazing to now see so many blooms on the branches.

The blooms on the flowering quince branches remind me of cherry blossoms.  It is as if I have a cherry blossom tree blooming in my living room. Words can not express how much I love these beautiful blooms.

I never knew flowering quince existed.  Now, I am in love with this springtime wonder.  The buds on the branches continued to bloom and bloom.  It is amazing.  Of course, I am beginning to think that I need one or more of these plants in my garden.  Miss Jane has two different colors of flowering quince, and she has invited me over to see them. She says they are beautiful.  I will go very soon.

Blessings to you and yours,

Miss Jane is not really a Miss.  She is married to First John (There is more than one John in the Men’s Bible Fellowship Class.)  Thought you would like to know.

Thank you Miss Jane.  To see other posts about Miss Jane’s garden, click HERE and HERE.
