When it comes to ice cream, (By that, I mean Blue Bell ice cream because that is what we buy.) generally we choose Homemade Vanilla.  It is beyond good, but…

Recently, friend Mrs. Ralph RAVED about a flavor called Rocky Mountain Road.  Blue Bell was on sale.  I saw the carton in the frozen food case at the Krogers, and I thought, “Why not?”

Sweet Mother of Pearl!  It was so delicious.  The dark chocolate ice cream is filled with nuts and marshmallow sauce.  Rocky Mountain Road could be seriously addictive.

Here is their description:

A rich, dark chocolate ice cream combined with dark chocolate-coated peanuts, milk chocolate-coated pecans, white chocolate-coated almonds, and roasted walnuts, all surrounded by a flavorful marshmallow sauce swirl. We created this flavor to commemorate our entry into Colorful Colorado in 2011 and to honor its magnificent Rocky Mountain scenery.

This isn’t even a new flavor.  Where have I been?  (Yes, I am stuck on Homemade Vanilla.)

Then, Friend BB RAVED about Happy Tracks.

Creamy vanilla ice cream loaded with chocolate-coated peanut butter cups and a dark chocolate fudge swirl.

Vanilla ice cream is loaded with fudge sauce and peanut  butter cups.  Be still my heart.  I liked it.  I loved it.

I am sure 99% of you have already tried these delicious flavors, but just in case – I wanted you to know.   Both Rocky Mountain Road and Happy Tracks are recommended.

Blessings to you and yours,

Blue Bell does not know me.  I am just sharing.  Maybe I will branch out and try more “new to me” flavors.  Any suggestions?
