The Grands on July 4th

The Grands came to the July 4th gathering along with a few other relatives and friends.  It was fun to see that the Grands were decked out in their patriotic attire, and they looked so cute.   I just knew you would like to see their pictures. – Okay, just indulge this grandmother.

Hot Rod

Number One Son knows Disney.  If you ever need help planning a Disney vacation, he is your man.  He can tell you where to be in the park on which day and at what time.  It was not surprising that Hot Rod was wearing a patriotic Micky shirt.  I like his shirt!  Oh, he is growing up too fast.

Pretty Baby

Jenny, Pretty Baby’s mother (and Number Two Son’s sweet wife) told me some time ago that she had Pretty Baby a July 4th outfit.  It was a darling sunsuit with the red and blue stars.  How cute!

Grands

You can see that these cousins already like each other.  Pretty Baby is fascinated with Hot Rod.

Grands

We put down a vintage red and white chevron quilt. (Chevrons are so in – It is amazing that this old quilt was a chevron pattern.)  Around here we teach ’em to wave the flag early.

Grands

Hot Rod was waving the flag so quickly, it was hard to get a picture.

Grands July 4

July 4th – a day to celebrate our nation’s birthday, and proclaim our freedom.  Like most of you, I am so thankful to be and American, but I also pray for our nation.  I want these precious children to know the freedoms we have known.  I pray they will grow up knowing the freedom that is in Christ Jesus.

Blessing to you and yours,
