Cindi’s Restaurant – New York Deli and Bakery

Sometimes we neglect the ones we love. – That applies to restaurants that we have frequented for ever and a day.  Cindi’s is on our frequent flier list.  It is a comfortable place that serves good food – especially breakfast.

Cindi's

Cindi’s is a mini-chain restaurant.  They now have five locations.  It is impressive that Anh Vo, a refugee from Vietnam, has established an authentic New York deli in Dallas, Texas.

Accolades fill the back wall.

First things first – the coffee at Cindi’s is good.  A breakfast restaurant has to serve delicious coffee, and Cindi’s gets high marks for their coffee.

Generally we go to Cindi’s for breakfast, and even if we go at other times of the day, I probably will order breakfast because they serve their breakfast menu all day.  This omelet is what made me realize that I had not blogged about Cindi’s.  The Taco Omelet is now one of my favorite things.  Sweet Mother of Pearl it is so delicious.  I like it.  I love it.  For my mouth it has just the right amount of spice.  It is huge so on this day Ever-Lovin’ and I shared.

This is what he ordered – a thick, crisp, fluffy, waffle with strawberries and cream.  Yummy!

My order also came with bread, and we decided to get a blueberry bagel.  Cindi’s makes delicious bagels.  Since we had a waffle, we brought this home to enjoy on another breakfast.

All of the breads and pastries are made in house.

No New York deli would be complete without black and white cookies.

This is an awful picture, but meat cases do have fog.  But, I wanted to tell you that each week Cindi’s gets a shipment of meats and other items from New York.  They strive to be an authentic New York deli, and they do very well.

I am glad I remembered to give a shout out to Cindi’s.  We generally visit the Central Expressway/Forest location or the Cindi’s on Campbell Road/Coit.  I am sure the other locations do equally as well.

Blessings to you and yours,

The Buds generally order the BLT at Cindi’s.  It is made just the way they like it.
