A Ranch Style Christmas

La Hacienda Ranch is decorated for Christmas.  I know it is a little early, but most retail establishments are ready to get this years holiday underway. (Thanksgiving is late this year – or so I hear.)

As we entered La Hacienda Ranch, we could not help but notice Mr. Bear Claus.

How dapper he looked sporting a red scarf and a Santa hat.  Mr. Bear Claus was just a hint of things to come.

La Hacienda Ranch has a gorgeous ranch style decor with a touch of whimsy.  Of course the basic decor for the restaurant is pretty impressive – log walls, stone fireplace, iron fireplace screen, wood lined ceiling, wagon wheel chandelier, and rough log beams.  I like it.  I love it.

There are also more than enough Bambi heads hanging on the walls.  (I think the big one with a beard is a goat, but I am not well versed in these matters.)  All I know is that they look cute wearing Santa hats.  What fun!

Sweet Mother of Pearl!  The lights on the antlers were my favorite touch.  (I do like lights!)  I also liked the Moostle Toe sign and the decorated mantle.  All these decorations create a room that is merry and bright.

They have gone to a lot of trouble to deck these halls.  Garlands of shiny Christmas balls are hung around the openings.

The Christmas tree is loaded with lights and ranch style decorations.

Everywhere we looked there were more decorations.  The Reindeer X-ing sign got our attention.  Snowflakes hung from the ceiling.

It is fun to go to a restaurant that not only has delicious Mexican food and steaks but also takes pride in their decor.

Blessings to you and yours,

La Hacienda Ranch is on Preston Road at Summerside.

A little trivia for you:  Did you know that Mariano Martinez (the founder of La Hacienda Ranch and Mariano’s) invented the first frozen margarita machine?  And it happened right here in Dallas, Texas!  That machine was inducted into the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C. in 2005.  Just thought you might like to know.

As usual, La Hacienda Ranch does not know me.  I am just sharing.
