Hanging the Wreath

I just couldn’t do it.  I couldn’t hang my beautiful wreath that Super Sister made for me on the outside door.  That wreath is so special, and….  Bottom line – I didn’t want it outside.

But where was I going to put it?  I wanted it someplace where I could see it and enjoy it.  The fireplace wall seemed to be a logical choice, but when we held it up on the fireplace, it seemed to get lost.  The fireplace does not have a mantle, and things hung on that wall can look as if they are going to slide down into the fire.

What about the old arched window that we had had above the changing table?  (We had to take it down because Pretty Baby liked to kick it, and we were afraid that it would fall off the wall.  It would not do to have that heavy window come crashing down our our Pretty Baby.)

Sweet Mother of Pearl!  That old window fit perfectly on the fireplace wall.

Plus, the wreath looks pretty darn good on that old window.  I guess you can say that the window gives the area definition.  (Honestly, I think it looks fantastic!)

Now the wreath has a good home, and I am happy.

As I sit at the table working on the blog, this is what I see.  I like it.  I love it.

Doncha just love it when things work out?

Blessings to you and yours,
