This is not something new, but it is something new for us and Pretty Baby.  Fisher Price makes a Little People Nativity Playset.

I first learned of this playset when The Queen of Everything bought Fisher Price Nativity Playsets for her grandchildren.  I wanted one then, but I didn’t have a reason to buy one.  This year I had a reason, and I went shopping.  I looked several places for the Nativity Playset and began to wonder if they still made it.  Then one day there it was at SAMS.  What an unexpected surprise.  (Pretty Baby does have beautiful blond curly hair.)

To our surprise, Pretty Baby has played and played with the set.

At this time, her play is generally moving the animals and people from the manger to the table and then moving them back into the stable.

Ever-Lovin got in on the action, and enjoyed sharing the Christmas story.

It didn’t take long for her to discover that if she pushed down on the angel, the star would light and Away in the Manger would play.  She likes it.  She loves it.  We look forward to sharing the story of Jesus with Pretty Baby for many many years.
