I can not resist the urge to give a shout-out to something exciting happening at First Baptist Church Richardson.

In 2015 First Baptist Church Richardson will be 150 years old.  I have mentioned that on Lanabird before, and it is a BIG DEAL.  Not many churches survive 150 years.  

The beginning of the celebration begins this December.  A Limited Edition Christmas Ornament, and a Limited Edition Historical Calendar will be sold.

As a member of the 150th Anniversary Committee, we are excited about these commemorative keepsakes.  The ornament is a metal wreath with the 150th Anniversary logo.  It is good looking.

The calendar is filled with historical facts and photographs.

History continues to be made, and the ornament and calendar encourage us to look to the future as we remember the past.
