Good Banana Pudding

Long, long ago on a street not too far away, a dear friend made Good Banana Pudding (That is the official name of this recipe in her family cookbook).  She served said Good Banana Pudding to Ever-Lovin’, and the rest is history.  Ever-Lovin’ loves, loves, loves banana pudding, and this recipe sat a new standard.  Was he ever happy when I asked for the recipe!  What I like about Good Banana Pudding is that it is easy breezy and only takes a tad more effort than pudding from the box.  You get a lot of bang for such little effort.

I usually make Good Banana Pudding in a trifle bowl or a large compote.  It makes a boat load – enough for a crowd.  You can even make it in a 9 X 13 glass cake pan.  Friend has been known to top the pudding with strawberries.  The strawberries are pretty, and the taste goes well with the bananas.  For the WOW Reunion, individual mini-puddings were put in small punch cups.

For an easy breezy refreshing dessert, do try this.  I think you will like it!

Blessings to you and yours,

Good Banana Pudding
